Audience recording. Average sound quality, not too bad. One of the few '99 shows where he does Blue Valentines. My copy of this bootleg has two songs at the beginning that are not on the Rhinedogs list nor on the cover art: The Black Rider and Jockey Full Of Bourbon |

This one is simultaneously one of the best 1999 shows and one of the worst sounding of the bootlegs from that year. It's not awful, but you'll need to give it some extra attention to appreciate it. It's made extra special by the presentation of X-Mas Card for those fine residents of Minnesota. If you're a Waits diehard, you'll love this show. If you're interested mostly in high sound quality, move on to one of the others. |
