Georgia was one of the more interesting and creative people I ever knew. I met her in 1981 when I became friends with her brother Eric. She quickly became a regular in the social group of friends who hung out in Columbia, Maryland. We dated briefly over the summer of 1983, but that didn't survive her moving away to college that Fall.

We exchanged letters mostly in 1983 and 1984.

At some point in the late 80's we pretty much fell out of touch completely.

Georgia's artwork is genuine and her talent is natural. Of all the artists we hung out with, she's the one who stuck truest to the ambitions and as far as I know never sold out.

Georgia's letters were always creative and entertaining, and a bit maniacal. It's all here, the good, the bad and the ugly.

If you feel like communicating I'd be glad to hear from you: ggrant543@gmail.com or feel free to leave a comment on the message board.
